Brothers Past debuted a slew of new material at Philadelphia’s Theater of the Living Arts on New Year’s Eve. The quartet’s first set opened with “Lunar Cycle” and featured “Celebrity,” “Everything Must Go” and “Can You Keep a Secret?,” before coming to a close with the end portion of “Lunar Cycle.” The band returned after a short break for a second set that consisted completely of new, previously unheard material slated for the group’s forthcoming studio album. Finally, the band returned for a third set that opened with “One Rabbit Race” and featured a New Year’s countdown sandwiched between “Up in Arms” and “A Wonderful Day.” Orchard Lounge’s Ben Silver later sat in with the group on “Getaway Somehow” during its encore, Brothers Past’s set segued into a late night Orchard Lounge performance.
