Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi will officially debut their new project at Savannah, GA’s Johnny Mercer Theatre on April 1. The show is part of the Savannah Music Festival. As previously reported, the musical couple will spend most of the year touring with a new band. Currently, the duo is rehearsing new material down in their Jacksonville home with a rotating cast of fellow musicians and friends. Each of the couple’s upcoming shows will feature a different set of players. As of now, Trucks and Tedeschi have confirmed appearances at the Wanee Music Festival, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Mountain Jam. The musicians will also both appear at John Bell’s 11th Annual Hannah’s Buddies Charity Classic at Orlando, FL’s House of Blues on February 20.
