The fifth studio album from The Cat Empire is set for a July 6 release. Cinema is the first such offering since 2007’s So Many Nights. The Australian group will tour the world in support of the disc, including a number of U.S. dates. At present three of these shows have been announced, as The Cat Empire will perform in Los Angeles (The Fonda, July 3), Chicago (Ravinia, July 6) and New York (Webster Hall, July 30). Additional stops are possible as the group will be in North America for an extended Canadian tour.
