Gathering of the Vibes has finally announced its Friday night headliner. Bob Weir and Phil Lesh will bring Furthur to Seaside Park in Bridgeport, CT on Friday July 30. The group joins a line-up that also includes: Primus, Rhythm Devils, Jimmy Cliff, Nas & Daman Marley, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Little Feat, Assembly of Dust, Deep Banana Blackout, Mix Master Mike, Jamie McLean Band, Lubriphonic, Caravan of Thieves, David Gans, Kung Fu, Macpodz, King For A Day, Turbine, Hot Day at the Zoo, Big Sam’s Funky Nation and many others. This Wednesday, May 19, Vibes founder Ken Hays will host a “Town Meeting” webcast to answer questions about the event. Tickets for Gathering of the Vibes, which extends from July 29 through August 1, are now on sale.
