The schedule of events for the String Incident’s Horning’s Hideout festival has been posted. In addition to four days of music from SCI, side projects and extended family, a number of workshops will take place on July 30, 31 and August 1. On the musical side, options include a Toubab Krewe Drum Workshop, “Where’s Del?” (“Get to know the Travelin’ McCourys…and learn where they’ve come from and where they’re going”), “Col. Bruce Hampton Outstructional Workshop with the Bumper and the Pelican” and Freestyle Americana Guitar with Scott Law. A number of yoga sessions are also are in offing as well as such options as “Being Honest With Your Kids” (John Perry Barlow, Mountain Girl), “Activism in the Music Industry” (Michael Kang, Ben Bronfman) and “Crossing the Event Horizon” exploring the Unified Field Theory of Nassim Haramein (Jamie Janover). The event will take place from July 29-August 1 in North Plains, OR.
