Former Grateful Dead singer Donna Jean Godchaux will sit in with the New Riders of the Purple Sage later this week. Godchaux will appear with the band at New York’s Highline Ballroom on August 28. She will also perform with her own Donna Jean Godchaux Band featuring Jeff Mattson at West Sayville, NY’s Long Island Maritime Museum Seafood and Music Fest earlier in the day.
