Following a West Coast tour Chicago’s Lubriphonic returns home this weekend. There on Saturday the band will celebrate the release of its new album The Gig Is On. This studio effort features Ivan Neville on keys for four of the tracks. The Double Door will host the show, which is the first of two high-profile Lubriphonic gigs over the coming months as the band also will open for Widespread Panic on October 8 at the Midland Theater in Kansas City, MO.
