Chicago’s Lubriphonic performed in Macon, Georgia last night as the band travels south to the Bear Creek Music Festival. Also in town was legendary soul singer Bonnie Bramlett, who is currently recording with Little Richard. Bramlett made her way over to the Cox Capitol Theatre and sat in with Lubriphobic for “Whatever You Do Don’t Stop.” This is precursor a weekend of sit-ins, starting on Friday when Lubriphonic will be joined by JB Horn alums Fred Wesley and Alfred “Pee Wee” Ellis as well as Sam Kininger. The group’s latest album The Gig Is One is currently streaming on Relix.com.
