San Francisco’s The Independent will host the holiday celebration The Silver Ball on Wednesday, December 1. The event will feature numerous San Francisco bands, including The New Up, bernadette, Crackerjack Highway and M80 Mailbox. Local DJ Jack Frost will spin between sets. M80 Mailbox features Tea Leaf Green guitarist Josh Clark, ALO drummer Dave Brogan and guitarist Sean Leahy. A portion of proceeds will be donated to “Blue Bear to help the school continue its 39-year legacy of bringing innovative and affordable music education programs to anyone, regardless of financial means, who is motivated to sing, play or craft a song.” Festive silver attire is encouraged.
