The String Cheese Incident kicked off a three-night reunion run at Broomfield, CO’s 1st Bank Center yesterday. Like the group’s other reunion runs, the members of String Cheese Incident spiked their setlist with some new songs and covers. Near the end of String Cheese Incident’s first set the band debuted the Emmitt-Nershi original “Colorado Bluebird Sky” (a number Nershi wrote with his wife Jilian) and, a few songs into its second set, the band busted out a cover of Cee Lo Green’s current hit “Fuck You.” Throughout the night, String Cheese Incident also revived a few songs it has not performed since breaking up in 2007, including “Suntan,” “Cottonmouth,” Big Shoes” and “Ramble On.” The night came to a close with a first time cover of the Jerry Garcia Band arrangement of Chuck Berry’s “Tore Up Over You.”

String Cheese Incident will return to the 1st Bank Center tonight.
