Gordon’s group earlier on the tour

Last night Mike Gordon made his way to the Ogden Theatre in Denver. Also on hand was Ivan Neville and members of his Dumpstaphunk on an off night between Colorado gigs. The musicians made the most of the situation as Ivan and Ian Neville, Tony Hall and Raymond Weber joined Gordon and his band for five songs. The four guest players stepped out at the close of set one for “Jaded,” “Alphabet Street” and “Down To The Night Club.” Then they returned at the close of the evening for the two song encore: “Jones” and “Things That Make You Go Hmm.” Hall and Weber are veterans of Gordon’s Phish bandmate Trey Anastasio’s 70 Volt Parade.
