The Allman Brothers Band performed the twelfth of their thirteen shows at New York’s Beacon Theater last night. This was an evening of friends and family, as during “Turn on Your Lovelight,” Derek Trucks’ brother Duane came out on drums. He was joined by ABB bass player Oteil Burbridge’s longtime Aquarium Rescue Unit bandmate Col. Bruce Hampton (ret.), who sang lead on the tune. Later, during the second set, Derek Trucks’ wife, Susan Tedeschi came out on guitar and vocals for “Anyday.” The final sit-in of the night of the night came during the closing run though “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed,” which saw guitarist Oz Noy take the stage.

Tonight the Beacon run concludes, with the Allman Brothers Band’s 200th performance at the venue.
