Our spate of festival news now continues. The fourth annual Mighty High Mountain Fest will take place from May 20-22 in Sterling Forest, NY at the Tuxedo Ridge mountain facility. Friday the 20th will feature music from Dark Star Orchestra, Donna Jean Godchaux Band and a late night performance by Zigaboo’s Funk Revue led by The Meters’ founding drummer Zigaboo Modeliste. DSO will return on Saturday night preceded by New Riders of the Purple Sage and Steve Kimock & Friends featuring Modeliste, Henry Butler and Andy Hess. Sunday’s lineup includes sets from God Street Wine’s Lo Faber and Aaron Maxwell as well as Wigjam and the Johnny Markowski Band. Both weekend passes and daily tickets are available.
