The Bear Creek Music Festival continues to add performers (with at least one major act yet to be announced). Galactic, Big Gigantic, Garage A Trois, Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, Skerik, Pee Wee Ellis, Hairy Apes BMX, The Trio (Porter, Vidacovich, Hartswick), Chali 2’na Band, Underground System, Shak Nasti, and The Last Straw are have been added to the event, which returns for a fifth year on November 11-13. These groups join an impressive lineup that already included such acts as: Medeski, Scofield, Martin & Wood, The funky Meters, Soulive, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, The Coup featuring Boots Riley, Marco Benevento Trio, Zach Deputy, The New Mastersounds, Anders Osborne Trio, Lettuce, Break Science, Eric Krasno & Chapter 2, Breakestra, Beats Antique a set from Medeski Martin & Wood as well as John Scofield, George Porter Jr. and their Piety Street project. Tickets are now on sale for Bear Creek, which once again will take place at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida.
