On September 16 and 17, the tenth annual Ponderosa Stomp will take place at New Orleans’ famed Howlin’ Wolf. This year’s lineup includes Allen Toussaint, William Bell, Big Jay McNeely, Eddie Floyd, Lady Bo, Sir Mack Rice, Lazy Lester, Dave Bartholomew and many more. Ponderosa Stomp founder Dr. Ira Padnos prides himself in finding performers that have been missing from the stage for decades and restoring their former glory. The two-night concert celebrates the influential music that formed the foundation of American pop culture in the post-war era.
