Erik Deutsch will self-release his next studio album Demonio Teclado (a term that translates to demon and keyboard) on Tuesda, February 28, 2012. The Fat Mama/Charlie Hunter keyboardist recorded Demonio Teclado live to 1/4-inch tape on an 8-track tape machine in the South Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, NY. The album features two covers (Ike Turner’s “Getting Nasty,” and Neil Young’s “Don’t Let It Bring You Down”) and seven original compositions. Deutsch appears alongside musicians such as Tony Mason (drums), Glenn Taylor (steel guitar), Jon Gray (trumpet), Brandon Seabrook (guitar), Jeff Hill (bass, co-producer of Demonio Teclado ) and Benjamin Rubin (bass). Deutsch will perform at Helvetia Bar in Luzern, Switzerland this Friday.
