New York’s Carnegie Hall will host the 22nd Tibet House Benefit Concert on February 13, 2012. In addition to artistic director Phillip Glass, the benefit’s initial lineup includes James Blake, Dechen Shak-Dagsay, Laurie Anderson and Rahzel. Numerous additional acts are expected to join the benefit’s lineup in the coming weeks. We’d also put money on longtime Tibet House supporter Patti Smith joining the benefit’s lineup after her annual December shows at New York’s Bowery Ballroom. Past Tibet House performers include Trey Anastasio, Lou Reed, The Black Keys, David Byrne, The National, Vampire Weekend, Ben Harper, The Flaming Lips, Michael Stipe and many others.
