Trombone Shorty has developed into an international star over the past two years, collaborating with the likes of Prince, Mos Def and Jeff Beck. But the New Orleans native still has deep ties to his hometown and will host his 6th annual Bacchus Bash at New Orleans’ Tipitina’s on February 19. Timed around Mardi Gras, the celebration will also feature Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Trombone Short is off to Japan for a show in Osaka, Japan on February 1.
