Last night at the Acoustic Cafe in Bridgeport, CT, rising jam rockers Dopapod were joined by Tim Palmieri (guitar) and Rob Somerville (sax) of Kung Fu. The augmented group joined forces on covers of Jimmy Herring’s “Scapegoat Blues” and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Sikamikanico.” During “Sikamikanico,” video artist Dave Pecoraro (known to Phish fans as MKDevo on youtube) emerged on vocals. Pecoraro was formerly in a Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute band with Palmieri.
