STS9 to Perform Axe the Cables Set at Red Rocks

STS9 have announced a few additions to their annual run at Morrison, CO’s Red Rocks Amphitheater, taking place over the weekend of June 16-17. These additions include an intimate “Axe the Cables” acoustic set, which will be performed prior to the screening of the #ReGENERATION documentary at the Boulder Theater on June 17. Additionally, progressive electro-pop duo Cherub will open up for STS9 on June 16 at Red Rocks.

STS9 have also released a recording of their set from this year’s Hangout Festival, which you can download for free at 1320Records.com.

Sounds like the Axe the Cables set will be at the Boulder Theater, not at Red Rocks… think the headline is wrong?

That is very misleading. Axe the Cables will be performed in Boulder,not at Red Rocks. Maybe Red Rocks Weekend would be a more accurate title? Acoustic on the Rocks would’ve had me booking a flight…
