String Cheese Incident have released their first new single in seven years. Titled “Can’t Wait Another Day,” the song is expected to be featured on a new album that is currently being worked on by the group.

“We are in the process of working on some material for a new album, but we just wanted to release this piece that was closest to being done just to get some hype and build some excitement for our summer shows,” keyboardist Kyle Hollingsworth tells Billboard.com.

SCI is also hitting the road for a 14-show summer tour that kicks off with three performances at the Electric Forest festival June 29-July 1 in Rothbury, MI. The group then heads west to Red Rocks and the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles before hosting their Horning’s Hideout gathering on July 20-22 in North Plains, OR.
