Wilco headlined a two-night run at Morrison, CO’s famed Red Rocks over the weekend. On Friday night, Punch Brothers opened the show and the entire band returned to the stage near the end of Wilco’s set for a take on “California Stars.” Not only did the group flesh out the classic Wilco/Woody Guthrie number, but each member of Punch Brothers also took a solo. On Saturday night, Wilco also nodded to their surroundings by changing a line to “livin in Morrison” during “Kingpin.”

As previously reported, Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy has also signed on to produce Sarah Lee’s Guthrie’s new studio album. Wilco will perform at Salt Lake City, UT ‘s Red Butte Garden on Monday.
