Furthur Continues Run at Terrapin Crossroads, Offers More Grilled Cheese

Furthur returned to Phil Lesh’s San Rafael, CA venue, Terrapin Crossroads, last night for their third performance at the venue. Last night the group stretched improvisationally throughout the performance, with a rare nine-song, segue-filled first set that kicked off the show. During the set the group debuted a few verses of the traditional number “Nobody’s Fault But Mine,” and proceeded to jam on its melody as the Grateful Dead did. The second set, which included seven songs, relied on heavy rotation favorites and continued to show the band’s improvisational prowess with numerous segues and highlights. As is the case with many of his Phil & Friends shows and Rambles at Terrapin Crossroads, Lesh gave away free grilled cheese from Terrapin Crossroads’ restaurant at the end of the night.

Here’s a look as the setlist from last night as it appears in our Box Scores section.

Truckin’>Nobody’s Fault? Nice, a little slice of ’74. The ’69 closing trifecta looks cool too.

This setlist is Friday, 6/29, NOT Thursday, 6/28. Fri was another strong show with many highlights but Dew and China Rider were particularly outstanding.
