JTree is the high desert, little warm in the day but nice and cool in the evening and morning. In October its not bad in the day either. Amazing place for a festival out by the mountains and lake under the crystal clear stars. It’s right up there with the best festie locations I have ever seen.

They’ve got around 15,000sq ft of covered area in the music bowl that is shaded….it makes for a real nice fest. And 29 Palms is NOT Joshua Tree two very different towns with completely different vibes.

One of my favorite festivals! July 17, 2012, 23:23:21

Small crowd of good people, family friendly, perfect weather, and some great up and coming artists usually at a very reasonable cost. Love the backdrop of the mountains here. Best of all, people who come are so happy to be there.
Looks fun again this year!
