Phil Lesh’s current series of Summer Rambles continued last night at his San Rafael, CA venue Terrapin Crossroads. With the exception of guitar virtuoso Stanley Jordan, who appeared with the group the previous two nights, the lineup once again featured Ryan Adams & the Cardinals/Chris Robinson Brotherhood guitarist Neal Casal, Furthur guitarist John Kadlecik, Chris Robinson Brotherhood/Black Crowes keyboardist Adam MacDougall and Furthur drummer Joe Russo.

While the previous rambles have relied more heavily on cover material, Saturday’s performance featured a greater number of Grateful Dead classics. Perhaps coincidentally, or in anticipation of his looming 70th birthday, nearly all of the songs performed throughout the evening were Jerry Garcia-sung tunes. In the vein of covers—aside from traditionals and staples of the group’s repertoire—“Iko Iko” appeared in the second set, while Chuck Berry’s “Let It Rock” filled out the encore slot.

Here’s a look at the setlist from last night as it appears in our Box Scores section.
