LCD Soundsystem will release their concert film Shut Up and Play the Hits on DVD and Blu-ray on October 9, according to Consequence of Sound. The film documents LCD Soundsystem’s final concert, which took place at New York’s Madison Square Garden on April 2, 2011. In addition to the Shut Up and Play the Hits film, the three-disc contains the complete concert as well as other surprise extras, which will be revealed closer to the release date. LCD Soundsystem recently showed Shut Up and Play the Hits in select theaters as well as New York’s Brooklyn Bowl.
