Rock the Vote will gear-up for the 2012 Presidential Election with the Rock the Vote Tour. For the next few weeks, the tour will move throughout the country, registering voters at colleges and universities. Each date on the tour will feature a mix of bands with roots in a number of different genres. The tour will come to a close with a big show at State College, PA’s Penn State on September 19. Rock the Vote has now confirmed that Jack Johnson, G. Love and ALO will perform on that date. The three acts have many intertwined roots and ALO keyboardist Zach Gill currently plays in Johnson’s band.
