New Monsoon will host GARYFEST, a tribute to their friend and manager Gary Hartman, who passed away earlier this year. The festival, which takes place this weekend in Houston, TX, will feature three nights of performances by New Monsoon. The San Francisco based jamband will play one show with two long sets at the Last Concert Café tonight. New Monsoon will then play a reunion show with their original percussionists and special guest Tim Carbone on Saturday, October 20 at the same venue. The band will play an unplugged set on Sunday October 21 at The Lounge. The Hightailers will open for New Monsoon tonight and Moses Guest will open on Saturday.
