While I agree the lineup is weak it’s something we all need to get used to. Rothbury is gone its ‘Electric’ Forest now unfortunately. It’s easier for promoters to market these electronic acts to high school and college kids who salivate like Pavlov’s dogs at the sound of a reverberant drum beat. But to each his own, times change. I’m sure people are excited and attendees will have a blast. Different strokes.

Lets start with, “I love Cheese!” I love the music, the live show experience and the fans. I traveled to Denver from OH for NYE this past year and have been all over the country to see them. Horning’s Hideout is heaven on earth. First Rothbury was amazing. But this festival still baffles me. Wasn’t the first two installments of Rothbury successful? Wouldn’t a killer “jamband/bluegrass/late night DJ” fest with a few bigger pop acts be successful again? Who the fuck is Knife Party and why are they 13 spots above RRE? I just can’t get myself excited about going to this and hanging out with 18 yr olds all weekend. So I will be going to Delfest this summer among other things. Anyone have more thoughts on this?

4th Delfest this year would love some cheese on top, it’s nice to dream sometimes.
