Tommy Talton Band will headline Hittin the Note ’s upcoming New York City party. Timed with The Allman Brothers Band’s annual residency at New York’s Beacon Theatre, the celebration will take place from 2-6 PM on Saturday, March 9 at BB Kings Blues Club. Grammy nominee and longtime Jaimoe collaborator Junior Mack will make a special guest appearance with the band.

Allman Brothers Band drummer Butch Trucks and ABB bassist Oteil Burbridge will open the show. They will perform as part of a group with North Mississippi Allstars’ Luther and Cody Dickinson. All four performers will also participate in a 2 PM meet and greet.

Trucks, Burbridge and the Dickinsons are confirmed to appear at the Roots Rock Revival instructional event and concert in June. As a bonus, anyone registered by March 9 will be placed Trucks’ VIP guest list for the Hittin the Note party and will not need to buy a ticket. At the Hittin the Note party Trucks will draw a door prize for a visit backstage during The Allman Brothers Band’s March 9 show that night.
