Robert Walter’s 20th Congress will release their new album, Get Thy Bearings, on June 25. The record, which is the group’s first in ten years, will be released via Royal Potato Family. The band—led by Walter (keys) and rounded out by Elgin Park (bass/guitar), Aaron Redfield (drums), Karl Denson (saxophone), Cochemea Gastelum (saxophone) and Chuck Prada (percussion)—recorded Get Thy Bearings in just a few takes at the Egonix Labs. The 20th Congress’ new tune “Hunk” can be heard below, and you can read our interview with Walter, in which he discusses the return of the 20th Congress, here.
