The Allman Brothers Band Will Play SPAC with Steve Winwood

The Allman Brothers Band will perform at Saratoga Springs, NY’s Saratoga Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, August 28. They will share the bill with Steve Winwood.

Winwood and The Allman Brothers Band are expected to announce a late-summer tour in the coming days. The Allman Brothers have co-headlined amphitheater runs with like-minded friends such as Bob Weir, Widespread Panic and Santana in recent years. The Allman Brothers Band previewed their summer trek by busting out “Can’t Find My Way Home,” a song from Winwood’s Blind Faith project, at New York’s Beacon Theatre during their Beacon run.

The Allman Brothers played “Can’t Find My Way Home” twice during the 2009 Beacon run. Once with Sheryl Crow and once with John Bell and Jimmy Herring.

I remember when the summer dates came out last year and it was kind of depressing and scary. This year though- hell yeah! Those Beacon shows were great.

This, and many of the other posts on this site, are seemingly slapped together in seconds. Put a little effort into your writing jambands.
