Robert Plant has expanded his summer tour. As previously reported, the Led Zeppelin singer will tour with his new band Sensational Space Shifters. Their tour will kick off in Dallas, TX on June 20 and come to a close at Brooklyn, NY’s Prospect Park on July 27. Plant will also make stops at festivals like High Sierra, JamBase Live, Portland Blues and Forecastle.

Before his recent projects in Nashville with Alison Krauss and Band of Joy, Plant worked alongside the Strange Sensation, recording the critically acclaimed, multi-Grammy nominated albums Dreamland and Mighty Rearranger. From this platform, Sensational Space Shifters has developed. For these shows, the group will feature Justin Adams (guitar, bendir, vocals), John Baggott (keyboards), Juldeh Camara (one stringed African violin, African Banjo, talking drum, vocals),
Billy Fuller (bass guitar, vocals), Dave Smith (drums and percussion) and Liam “Skin” Tyson (guitar, vocals). Both Baggott and Fuller are part of the Massive Attack team and have worked with Portishead.
