Trey Anastasio’s Hands on a Hardbody has been nominated for three awards at the Outer Critics Circle Awards. Anastasio was nominated for Outstanding New Score along with co-writer Amanda Green, while cast members Keala Settle was nominated for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical. The show itself is also up for Outstanding New Broadway Musical. The Outer Circle Critics are an organization of New York theater writers from out-of-town publications. The winners will be announced on May 13 and their will be a special ceremony on May 23.

Hands on a Hardbody closed a couple weeks ago after only a month on Broadway. The show was forced to call it quits due to a lack of ticket sales, despite receiving generally positive reviews.
