The new music video for David Bowie’s “The Next Day” has been banned from YouTube. The video, which features Bowie alongside acclaimed actors Marion Cotillard and Gary Oldman, has been removed from the popular website just hours after its release due to a “terms of service violation.” While YouTube has not clarified its decision, the short film is packed with a good bit of disturbing religious imagery, which may or may not be the reason for its removal. However the video is still hosted on other sites, so you can view it above.

UPDATE:

YouTube has reversed their decision to take down David Bowie’s video for “The Next Day.” Billboard reports that a spokesman for the site has said “sometimes we make the wrong call.” The video can now be found on YouTube.
