Guns N Roses to Play Brooklyn Bowl on Thursday Night

Guns N Roses will perform at The Brooklyn Bowl this Thursday night. The hard rock icons will take the stage at 11pm following a DJ set by Questlove. Keyboardist Chris Pitman will also do a DJ set after the concert. The show will take place a few days before Guns N Roses’ upcoming appearance at the Governor’s Ball Music Festival in New York City. Tickets to the show will go on sale today at 7pm EST for $150.

Nicki Bluhm and The Gramblers, who were previously scheduled to perform at the venue this Thursday, will now open for The B-52s at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY on the same night. Fans who purchased tickets to the band’s Brooklyn Bowl show will now be able to see them at The Capitol Theatre instead.

150 is a lil steep but very cool to see gnr at a small place like that!!

it would be much cooler if it was actually gnr and not just fat axl and a bunch of hired hands.

Pretty cool, but it will never be GNR to me without Slash. That said, tell me those (few??) who bought tickets to Nicki Bluhm can get there $$ back if they prefer. I mean I love The Cap as much as the next guy but opening for the B-52’s? Yikes.

That sucks… I’d rather see David Wax Museum

This isn’t Guns N’Roses. This should be called the Axl Rose Band or something. If Slash and the rest of the band were there, I’d drop the 150 but never for just Axl and whatever hacks he can put together.

Here’s a great double bill:
NIGHT OF COVERS:

Furthur and G& R.

Even if the original lineup was together it would still suck cuz they’re all sober and shit. MUCH more entertaining and valid when izzy & Adler were pretty much at deaths door on any given day. Look what happened to Metallica & aerosmith.

what ever the line up is..GNR is playing a club in Brooklyn. That is awesome. I won’t be attending but still.
