Widespread Panic and Conscious Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to hunger relief and youth empowerment, will team up for the first time for an ‘Art That Feeds’ Food Drive during the bands four-night run at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrsion, CO on June 27-30.

Founded in 2002 and based out of Boulder, CO, Conscious Alliance has used grassroots food collection like ‘Art That Feeds’ food drives at concerts and music festivals to raise awareness of extreme poverty within Native American Reservations.

Conscious Alliance uses art to inspire people to donate and through the ‘Art That Feeds’ food drive, concertgoers who donate food for the food drive receive a limited-edition concert poster.

Artist Robert Marx, who has been creating posters for other ‘Art That Feeds’ events since 2003, has created the limited edition oversized poster for the Widespread Panic concerts at Red Rocks. Anyone who donates 20 non-perishable food items, or a monetary donation will receive a poster. All food donated will benefit the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.

Other notable artist collaborations with Conscious Alliance’s ‘Art That Feeds’ food drive include String Cheese Incident, Dave Matthews Band, Umphrey’s McGee and STS9.
