Bob Weir’s TRI Studios has announced the second leg of the “Race to TRI” contest. The contest, dubbed “Part Deux,” is an opportunity for unsigned musicians and bands to submit their recorded material for a chance to win audio and video recordings at the San Rafael studio.

Until November 27, hopeful artists can submit up to three songs via Soundcloud to be judged by Weir, Dave Schools, Rick Vargas, Mike McGinn, AJ Santella and the rest of the TRI Studios team. Once judged, selected tracks will be available on TRIStudios.com for public voting.

The grand prize winner will visit TRI Studios to record three tracks with video production, including two fully mixed and mastered audio tracks. The winner will also receive a custom Telefunken microphone. The total estimated value of this package is $7,500. The first runner-up will record two tracks with video production, including one mixed and mastered audio track, while the second runner-up will record one single (audio only, mixed and mastered).

Interested candidates can enter by filling out this form and paying a $10 entrance fee.
