Earlier today, the Brooklyn Bowl confirmed that Robert Randolph, John Medeski, and Luther and Cody Dickinson would reunite as The Word for a show at the venue on February 11. Now it looks like the group will be joined by Soulive/Lettuce guitarist Eric Krasno for another performance at another one of Relix/ Jambands.com publisher Peter Shapiro’s venues—Port Chester, NY’s Capitol Theatre. The newly scheduled concert will take place on February 12, with tickets going on sale Friday, January 17 at noon.

The Word—who released their self-titled debut album back in 2001—toured a bit during the 2000s before getting back together for a few shows in the summer of 2012. Original bassist (and the Dickinson Brothers’ North Mississippi Allstars bandmate) Chris Chew will not be joining them for the upcoming shows, which are currently the group’s only scheduled dates.
