The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach will produce Ultraviolence, the forthcoming LP from New York City singer/songwriter Lana Del Rey. While Del Rey hasn’t released a full-length album since 2012’s Born to Die topped the charts, she has scored notoriety with Cedric Gervais’ “Summertime Sadness” remix as well as her short film, Tropico.

Lana Del Rey took to Twitter to announce the pairing, with a picture of the two in the studio. Auerbach earned a Grammy for Producer of the Year (Non-Classical) in 2013 and has recently produced albums from the likes of Ray LaMontagne, Dr. John, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Michael Kiwanuka and many more.

Ultraviolence is reportedly due out in mid-2014. Lana Del Rey will also perform at this year’s Coachella Festival, one of her only U.S. tour dates of the summer, so far.
