Lockn’ Reveals Daily Schedule, Lineup Additions

The daily schedule for the 2014 Lockn’ Festival has been unveiled, and it looks like previously unconfirmed artists The Revivalists, the No BS Brass Band and Freeman (Aaron “Gene Ween” Freeman’s new project) will be performing at the event. Additionally, the schedule has also reveals the existence of a new “Shakedown Stage” that will feature sets from Chris Robinson Brotherhood and Bustle In Your Hedgerow.

As previously reported, Lockn’ will return to Arrington, VA September 4-7 and will feature headlining sets from The Allman Brothers Band (playing At Fillmore East), Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Widespread Panic (w/Steve Winwood), The String Cheese Incident and more. The new schedule confirms that more festival announcements are planned for the near future.

Tickets to the Lockn’ Festival are on sale now.

Really wish it was NY&CH instead of Petty.
This lineup is fucking ridiculous as is though. Might have to make the 13 hour drive for this one. Hopefully getting in isn’t as big of a shitshow as it was for everyone last year. They need to add Dweezil Zappa & Moistboyz onto this already stacked lineup.

Festivals without overlapping sets can be tough. Lots of great bands but what the fuck do you do when SCI plays? Or Petty? And what is the late night situation? Is there no late night or does the last act just play late? And if so, is there only one late night act each night? Phases is looking a bit better at this point in time.

Allman’s only one time? Seems different from what was promised. And there is likely to be reason why Greg Allman can’t be there. And the “late night” seems to be bands I want to see – but in the no man’s land campgrounds. Are they at the same time? Many questions remain but it sounds like the lineup is as good as it gets.

What is shakedown stage? I know about the triagle from last year, but did I somehow miss this?? As long as I get to see Chris Robinson Brotherhood, I dont care where they play…

“kellers grateful gospel w/ john k we’re also announced on the lineup where did they go?” to the presumably late night camping lot stages to play at 1:30 am against the other stage. What a clusterF that will be. A lot of logistical questions remain and doubtful they will be fan friendly…

I thought I would take this opportunity to say something positive. This festival is going to be friggin’ great.

I’m sure Tedeschi Trucks and Grateful Gospel didn’t just disappear… Probably still trying to figure out where to fit them in on the schedule

On second look, Tedeschi trucks is listed anyway…

Here’s hoping that one of the unannounced bands is ARU doing a lockn set with Panic. Wouldn’t be the first time.
