Beck’s iconic Song Reader, which signaled his return to music in 2012, will be offered as a companion version of the record with the help of the likes of Jack White, Jeff Tweedy, fun., Lord Huron, Jack Black and even Beck himself.

The Warby Parker release of Song Reader marks the first officially recorded incarnation of the project, which has already inspired interpretations from hundreds of musicians all over the world. The record includes the studio-quality debut of songs previously only played live either by Beck himself or at the handful of Song Reader concerts staged over the last two years.

The album will be available July 29 via Capitol Records. Pre-orders are ongoing.
