Fiya Fest will return to Mardi Gras World in New Orleans on May 1, the second Friday of Jazz Fest. The all-day mini-festival and crawfish boil will once again raise money for a couple of great organizations that are essential to the culture of Crescent City.

This year’s Fiya Fest will feature an assortment of superjams, with artists like Karl Denson, George Porter Jr., Leo Nocentelli, Oteil Burbridge, Lee Fields, Ivan Neville, Stanton Moore, Henry Butler, Robert Walter, Cyril Neville, Billy Iuso, The Revivalists, Carley Meyers, Johnny Vidacovich, Jennifer Hartswick, Natalie Cressman, Big Chief Monk Boudreaux, Arleigh Kincheloe, Raymond Weber, Russell Batiste, Khris Royal and many more teaming up in different formats. The day will also include sets from Monophonics, Kung Fu, Orgone and The Head, as well as DJ Logic, DJ Otto, Borahm Lee, Eric McFadden, Nick Cassarino, Nate Edgar, Weedie Braimah, Alvin Ford Jr., Terrence Houston, Jermal Watson and Will Bernard. On top of all that, the event’s headliner hasn’t even been revealed.

FiyaFest 2015 will be a benefit for the Roots of Music, a music education program for underprivileged youth in the New Orleans area, and the New Orleans Musicians Clinic, a nonprofit that offers affordable healthcare options for local musicians. Tickets for the event will be available at noon CT on Monday, March 16.
