Perpetual Groove returned to their hometown venue—Athens, GA’s Georgia Theatre—for their first show in over two years last night. The newly reunited group kicked off their concert with their debut cover Pearl Jam’s “Release,” and they wrapped the night up with their first-ever take on TV on the Radio’s “Trouble.” The two-set show also featured a “Green Tea” that sandwiched around “Orange Wedge” and “Macumba,” along with a cover of Talking Heads’ “This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody)” and plenty of other PGroove standards.

Perpetual Groove will continue their reunion run at the Georgia Theatre tonight, though that show will be broadcast via Yahoo Live!.
