The Library of Congress announced earlier this year that Willie Nelson would be this year’s recipient of their Gershwin Prize for Popular Song, a lifetime achievement award named after the legendary composer brothers and given for excellence in songwriting.

Nelson will be honored with a tribute concert on November 18 at DAR Constitution hall in Washington, DC that will include appearances from Neil Young and Promise of the Real (featuring Nelson’s son Lukas), Paul Simon (the first recipient of the award in 2007), Alison Krauss, Leon Bridges, Rosanne Cash, Jamey Johnson, Raul Malo, Edie Brickell, Ana Gabriel and Buckwheat Zydeco.

The ceremony will be aired on PBS on January 15.
