Fresh off an appearance at a Bernie Sanders rally and a surprise show in Portland, ME with local band Dominic & The Lucid, drummer Jon Fishman continued his live music run over the weekend by joining SeepeopleS on Saturday night in Orono, ME as the Sanders campaigned continued.

The pre-caucus party was held at the Roost in Orono and the band’s set was introduced by Jerry Greenfield of Ben & Jerry’s. Among the tunes played included a set-closing take on Billy Joel’s “Moving Out.”

Fishman made his mark on the Bernie Sanders campaign over the last week, first introducing the Democratic candidate for President at a rally in Portland, leading Sanders to call Phish “one of America’s great bands.”
