In an interview with BBC, the Eagles’ Don Henley confirms the band will not perform again following the untimely death of Glenn Frey, who passed away on January 18 at the age of 67 after complications from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis and pneumonia.

“That was the final farewell,” Henley said of the band’s tribute to Frey at this year’s Grammys. “I don’t think you’ll see us performing again. I think that was probably it. I think it was an appropriate farewell.”

Henley did say that the band was planning an anniversary tour for Hotel California prior to Frey’s death and that the tour is “obviously” not going to happen now.

Below, watch the band pay tribute, along with Jackson Browne, to their late bandmate at this years Grammys.
