Railroad Earth will mark their return to Red Rocks Amphitheatre on September 16 with a show that will also include Anders Osborne and Chris Robinson Brotherhood on the bill.

The Red Rocks show will be followed by a more intimate show at the Boulder Theater on September 17 and tickets to that show are only available as a part of a two-day ticket package.

In related Railroad Earth news, the band headlined Denver’s The Fillmore last weekend with two guest-heavy shows. To start, the band welcomed out The String Cheese Incident’s Bill Nershi for the final three songs of the first set and the entire second set. Nershi took lead vocals on “Barstool” in the second set, a new original he debuted on that night.

For the finale, the band welcomed out The Black Swan Singers throughout their show and The Infamous Stringdusters’ Chris Pandolphi added banjo to “Grandfather Mountain” and “My Sisters and Brothers.”
