Nellie McKay has been hitting the campaign trail in support of Bernie Sanders lately and has released a few “singles” with the candidate in mind, including a cover of Frank Zappa’s “Hungry Freaks, Daddy.”

The cover, which McKay can be seen performing below, is from her most recent album of covers, My Weekly Reader. Zappa’s son Dweezil joined in for the studio version of the tune. McKay has also released two more Sanders-related songs via her YouTube channel, “Success” and “You Made Me Love You.”

McKay’s tour dates this year will be solo ukulele and piano, and she is calling the tour “Follow the Money: An Election-Themed Show” in support of Sanders’ campaign. See her upcoming tour dates below.
