Reed Mathis’ Electric Beethoven have been forced to cancel the first night of their two-show stand at New York’s Cutting Room tonight due to a Dave Chappelle performance.

The band will play tomorrow night at DROM and have moved up the start time in response to being bumped from the bill tonight. “If you’re in New York, you won’t want to miss this. Get to DROM by 8pm and make us say ‘I told you so,’” the group wrote on their Facebook page.

The debut video by Electric Beethoven, “Rebirth,” also debuted today via The Wall Street Journal, and the band played an in-office session at the Relix and Jambands.com headquarters yesterday. Watch that video here.
